Wedding at the Hilltop | Spring Green, WI

Jordan & Joe

Last fall I was honored to photograph the wedding of my cousin Jordan & her fiance Joe. They got married in my hometown of Spring Green, WI at the Hilltop. As a wedding photographer, I have a bucket list of local venues that I want to shoot at that look like they would push my creativity — and the Hilltop was one of them! I was so excited that the stars aligned and I was finally going to get to photograph a wedding at this gorgeous venue, and the fact that it was a family wedding was just a bonus!

The Hilltop didn’t disappoint —  it was a magical place for a wedding! Plus, the owners Janelle & Ty are great to work with and love sharing their gorgeous venue with people.  Jordan & Joe got a gorgeous early fall day and we all enjoyed the beauty of the valley.  Jordan arrived at the ceremony with her dad in a 1914 Model T Ford. It belonged to our grandpa and his dad before that! My own dad now takes care of it and played chauffeur on the wedding day.  The backdrop for the ceremony is an enormous 100+ year old Catalpa tree (my fave) which provides a great setting, for portraits, too.The way the guests move through the various spaces on the property throughout the day makes for a unique wedding experience all with their own special character.

Enjoy some photos of their day!
